Utlity Detection
The biggest single use of GPR is for utility detection, particularly in advance of new construction.
GPR is not normally used on its own but it is an important complement to other detection technologies such as Electromagnetic Location (EML) since it can detect both metallic and non-metallic pipes and cables irrespective of whether they are live or disconnected.
